Live Lobster

Choosing a live lobster can be kind of tricky. Usually these lobsters are kept in a small tank with several other lobsters in it. Despite this, you can look for the following signs to know which live lobsters to choose:

• Energy – Look for a live lobster that is not just alive, but is active as well. The lobsters that have the most energy will be the ones that are most delicious when prepared.

• Check the water – Check to see what the temperature of the water that the live lobster is being kept in is. The lobsters that are kept in warmer waters tend to be a little more active than those that are kept in cold water.

• Look at the size – The live lobster that will tend to be the most tender is the lobster that is under two pounds. This is because these lobsters are able to better maneuver. This makes their meat more pure.

By making these checks on a live lobster, there is a great chance that you will be able to find the most delicious lobster in the tank to take home with you.
